The Blue2 concept, pronounced “Blue squared”, is the Hyundai’s first sedan-style Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) powered by hydrogen. Its name come from the combination of Hyundai’s sub eco-brand “Blue Drive” and the number “2” from H2, the symbol for hydrogen gas. Powered by a fuel cell electric system, it delivers a stack power of 122 horsepower. According to Hyundai, the car returns a fuel economy of 32.9 km/l.
Full of high technology and made of eco materials, this mid-size concept is very eco-friendly as well. Indeed, it’s equipped with low-resistance tires and alloy wheels which are designed to improve aerodynamic performance.
Inside, a welcome system recognises the driver, while an automatic system opens the door for you to get easily in the car. Moreover, side and roof cameras, replace the conventional side mirrors to give you more conveniences.
Moreover, a computerised dashboard features transparent OLED screen technology and tough Gorilla glass to deliver information, while motion sensors and haptic technology respond to the driver’s hand movements. 
About design, it is flowing outside as inside the car. Asymmetrical forms dominated and the cabin features wider seats enable more comfortable ingress and egress. To keep fresh air, the Blue2 has a cluster ionizer and the antibacterial genuine leather with leaf-shaped patterns continues the eco-friendly theme.
After the i-flow hybrid concept which gave the new tone to Hyundai range with the new fuel-efficient 2011 Elantra and 2011 hybrid Sonata, Hyundai will maybe offering the new very eco-friendly car species.
